My Page

Cobra in my Cabin...

This was a thrilling experience.  My friend brought in a cobra in my cabin, as i had challenged him to get one and i would watch standing nearby.  She shoes you see in the frame is me!
It was so hypnotic.  The hiss really makes the pray numb, it gets on to your nerve.  !

It was there in my cabin for about ten minutes and I had it.  I mean, I stood nearby by completely mesmerized by the beauty and shine of the recently sloughed ( skin shed) young cobra..!
Just loved that experience.

Then he freed it into the jungle around 65 Kilometers away from the city....! Hope my dear cobra is enjoying his freedom and still alive....!

Wanted to share with you.  The video is not that good as no one was ready to enter into my cabin.

We wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,--
This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.

Why should the world be overwise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.

We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
We wear the mask!
                                          by Paul Laurence Dunbar!!

When do we wear a mask?
  • in happiness?
  • in grief?
  • all the time?
